These pinatas are a huge hit at any kid’s party! My friend Erin made them for her little girl’s 3rd birthday party and as you can see the kids just loved them! Here’s how to make them:
- Stuff each hat with candy and prizes
- Cover the bottom with a piece of tissue paper taped around the edges
- Fringe 2-3″ pieces of tissue paper and wrap around each hat using tape to secure
- Tape a piece of ribbon or string to the bottom tissue paper
Last, use a three hole punch to punch a hole through the top. String a piece of ribbon through the holes and cover top with more tissue paper. (See pictures in the slider.)
Tie up the Piñatas at children’s height. Then, pull the ribbon to release the candy and treats! It’s safer than swinging a bat with a traditional Piñata and if you make enough for each child, everyone gets a treat! Enjoy!
